About Philanthropy Philanthropy is the charitable fund of the Serbian Orthodox Church, registered in Serbia as a local non-profit fund, with the main purpose to perform humanitarian activities. Philanthropy’s mission is based on Christian values and
adheres to principles and high standards set up by leading international
humanitarian aid agencies. The basic principle in the work of Philanthropy is
the respect of human rights related to dignified livelihood. This is
reflected in assistance to all those in need, regardless of their race, gender,
nationality, or religious affiliation. By its work, Philanthropy is trying to
actively contribute to the development of international professional
standards and examples of the good practice. |
